I've got an Avid DNxHD QT file of a one hour project that was offlined in FCP and onlined in DNxHD on an Adrenaline without problems using Automatic Duck. We put it to bed for a few months and made a DNxHD145 QT movie for my reference. It plays back a few frames out of sync on my Mac systems. I tried to to import it into FCP and see if I can correct the audio in the timeline. I've download the Avid QT codecs. The DNxHD QT plays in Quicktime Pro (two frames out of sync) but no video when imported in FCP. Might I be missing something in FCP when adding the Avid DNxHD codec to QT? Is there another step with FCP as well? I've read that the DNxHD QT's out of an Avid are viewing and not working QT's.
